Art of Nature Exhibit at Hildene

Our first semester of the new class entitled Art of Nature is wrapping up with an exhibition to highlight the work that was created at Hildene Farm.
Students created quill pens, made ink from berries and nuts on the property, painted en plein air, carved linoleum printing blocks for notecards, used eco-printing with flowers to create prayer flags, and needle felted landscapes and animals.

Ethnobotany and Farm to Plate classes will also be sharing artifacts from the semester. All are invited to see the work on display at the Hildene Education Center (next to the Welcome Center on the Hildene Main-House-Campus) on Thursday, 12/11 through Sunday, 12/14, from 10:00-4:00 PM.
